Columbus, OH 12 April 2008 This is not how it was supposed to go down, or what anyone wanted but this is what happened. I'm not denying that this did not go well, as indicated by the first sentence in my video description. It sounds like some people are missing out on important details, such as the anon who got totally freaked out and was saying things he oughtn't when in the presence of scientologists. The whole reason we had to stop and confront the guy was so I could hustle that anon with a trusted friend on down the street to his car while we prevented his being followed. Ugly as the scene may have been, it prevented the scientologist from silently goading the guy into doing something stupid which would end up on the news, probably his true mission. Thanks again for your support, I'm hoping to work with some of the local anons on coming up with a way to handle this kind of situation better in the future. We didn't really expect to be followed and never even discussed how to handle it before this happened. Camera: LocalAnon (provided me with this video) Camera2: Unknown Anon (send me a msg man!) Chubby guy in between talking about communication: me (aka CX) When my group left RECONNECT, we were followed by a scientologist in a black leather jacket and dark glasses concealing his OT Death Stare®. He followed us for a couple blocks, then we stopped (sending our more excitable friends on to the car while those of us with cameras and/or cooler heads kept the scilon occupied). An UnknownAnon (dude you are always there at the right moment) showed up with a camera for moar documentation and incredibly well informed banter with our stalker. I believe the scilon was under orders not to communicate with us, he never said a word and the closest he came to completing a "com cycle" was a half a head nod at one point. After a few minutes, another scilon approached from the direction of the basestar, this one did speak and suggested we had a "misunderstood" in our reading of PTS/PS tech. This guy I would not have minded speaking to a bit longer, he was friendly, and reminded me of Billy Sheehan, a friendly public scientologist. Immediately after the battery died, a friendly pair of Columbus's finest arrived and kept the scilons occupied while we made our way to a safe extraction point. Hope everyone made it to their vehicles/home without too much trouble losing their tails.
