I've been playing Vice City in vigilante mode for years. It rocks. Last year I got 1800 kills in one go, without using the Apache or the tank. That's why in this video, my cash meter is one digit longer than it used to be (I have $100,000,000 in the bank). In the video there are highlights of a go where I got 404 kills before being busted (stupidly, I should have been more careful). The way I play, to make things more entertaining, is basically like this: I don't use the Apache, the tank, or the rocket launcher. I only respray my car once I get 5 stars and the FBI are coming after me. That pretty much guarantees I have plenty of cops after me most of the time, which keeps things entertaining. The music is from the original Grand Theft Auto (available free from Rockstar's website). I really hope they do more with the vigilante mode in the future GTA games, because it rocks. It's fucking funny. You know, sometimes you'll be on a mission to slaughter say, 12 old women, who have decided to rob a bank or something, using 3 slow-as-fuck people carriers as getaway vehicles. It cracks me up. It's a pity you only end up targeting 3 cars full of criminals at a time in this though. It would be much cooler if you ended up hunting like, big convoys of 10 of them etc. And if they drove buses, that would be bloody funny, too. There's loads of shit they could do with it. Equipment Used: 6 and a half year old Playstation 2. JVC video recorder that cost £12. Tesco own brand video tape (£2.84 for 3). Replacement remote control that cost £1 from Poundland. 28-inch widescreen TV by the world-renowned "Naiko" brand. Avermedia video capture card from Maplin (£30). Pinnacle Studio 9. Adobe Première Elements 2. Adobe Photoshop Elements 4. The soundtrack is a couple of songs from Grand Theft Auto 1. The game is available free from Rockstar's website. Hide
