This video contains the latest preview pictures and details of Resident Evil: Revelations set to be released for Nintendo 3DS in Spring 2011. In summary, this articles basically states that Resident Evil: Revelations has the potential to be the best Resident Evil game to date. It features cramped hallways, dark areas, difficult enemies, and also real time elements such as the ship that the game takes place on falling apart, filling with water, etc to add to the tension. The game is also very story-driven and heavy, you play through it trying to figure out exactly why Chris and Jill are at odds with each other, what could possibly drive them to mistrust each other? All in all, despite this being on a handheld I definitely think it has potential to be very fun and from what I have seen it already looks far better than RE5, more like the typical RE we came to know and love, not the action-oriented offering Capcom gave us with RE5 but more within the survival-horror genre which excites me. One major difference with this game from previous mainstream RE titles is that the aim is from a first-person perspective and now it is possible to MOVE AND SHOOT while aiming though this is very rigid movement and similar to that used in Outbreak.
