Friday 28 September was the final concert by Ron Sinclair on the WurliTzer at Willoughby Town Hall (Sydney NSW Australia) prior to the organ's decommissioning and storage before the complete rebuild of the Chatswood/Willoughby Civic Precinct. After the show, those that hung around were lucky enough to get to view the console up close and then to be shown the chambers. While we were in the chambers, Ron played a short medley. Believe me it is LOUD - hence the distortion on the sound. This was shot on my Nokia phone so the quality is not great and neither is the shooting style. Gives you some idea of what is hiding behind the shutters and how much sound these beasts can make.
