A song documenting the history of Hip Hop as a music genre and as a culture, from its origin all the way to its present day state. Lyrics: Intro (*Spoken*) I'm gonna address the issue of 'Hip Hop'. First verse, talkin' about where it began... Second verse, what the fuck happened to it... And third verse, what we should DO about it. And QUIT ya' whinging. Listen up! Yo... Verse 1 - Where It Began It was born in the Bronx because of being oppressed They'd meet in the streets the beats freeing the stress Unaware of the beast asleep deep in the depths of the music Soon it's reaching the rest Of the world in every Nation This generation of Hip Hop Heads Teaching how the better way's done A federation with a message and microphone That strikes ya' dome when said in a lighter tone The government fight with stones but they'd 'rock the beat, harder than they could beat it with rocks' ( - Eminem) The style seemed top be hot It caught on and before long there were hoards of songs On record racks in the stores and a strong sense of longevity Direction and movement ensures they'll never be selling weak stories of 'felonies' Telling peeps they're the remedy And if you don't agree than they'll break it down like a spelling bee 'Til you're thinking the same as them from similar angles Hip Hop Heads were given a candle! And lead the way through the maze of brambles The brave entangled in a craze of scrambles They were maimed and trampled but amazed they handled themselves They're fighters, but were named as 'vandals' And given handcuffs in exchange for bangles So the law could ensure their rage was channeled Made to gamble with their life in the streets Forced to live in the spot light of police As a 'trigger-happy gangster, spraying the shots quick' One decade on, they're making the POP HITS?! Trouble is now, they ain't telling the truth And wanna live rap by the stem, not the roots And the desire for acceptance taints their hearts Until they're just another voice for the A&R's Uh! *Chorus* What's Happened to rap, where's it gonna go? What's happened rap on the radio? And what the hell is going on in the videos? Does anybody really know? No! What's Happened to rap, where's it gonna go? What's happened rap on the radio? And what the hell is going on in the videos? Does anybody really know? No! Verse 2 - What the fuck happened to it They never buy shit, they dub it on the internet Wondering if the download of their songs finished yet Not giving a fuck how many bucks the singers get Wanna Buy it in the shop? ''No...'' Click your finger? "Yes!" Kids have now chose to download by wire That's what happens when quantity outgrows desire Now phones are tryn'a create 'audio-style' Audiophiles all see those childs and oughta go wild! With the tinny bass they really hate It will erase high fidelity The melody's skinny and makes The quality 2D Answer honestly to me Would you wanna see movies where the quality you see is half-assed? The sound half blasts original condition! And what about the physical existence?! Copied tracks have no CD case 'n there wont be elation You'll easily replace them or erase them There isn't any pamphlet booklet With pictures and info that the fans sit and look at I can't stand it, They look at spending loads on technology which boasts great bass Then play tracks with hollow beats?! And copied films on surround sound DVD's Wonder why it sounds worse than previously! It's thievery stealing beats for free These geeks seem to be comfortable to stream and keep Every single song from their favourite artists Knowing full well that THEY ARE the target Of extraction, the action of the shakedown The singers haven't got any doe for the bread to bake now! Low rate sounds for loads of fake clowns That won't break a note, they'll only pay pounds And their new album can only mildly impress And you ask why? Take a fuckin' wild guess! *Chorus* Verse 3 - What we should do about it We oughta dispense of all senior chumps That resort to intensional media stunts Like picking same album release dates When there's increased album leaks at stake And I'm thinking how come for Pete sakes Can't these snaked seem to see straight These fake beefs make me take Another look at who leads the game these days Stirring it up by being controversial Either on the verse in in a song rehearsal But raps strong circle has gone reversal! 'Cause it seems every Hip Hop song's commercial!! Ponder first at all the rap videos Men impose by selling loads of telephones With top-notch gadgets and swatch-watch ad's, it's Easy to see why Hip Hop's got tragic Like hop scotch rabbits, they bounce to the beat In the club, whether or not the sound of it's sweet In cars and the clubs Surrounding the streets Pounding their feet on the ground beneath As if they've found their release, but it's bound to cease! Because they're proud of it now, but the outcome is bleak! With the destination Lets test the Nation Raising the bar along with the expectation Of skill that's required By millions of buyers Not rekindling old flames, we're BUILDING a fire Keep it real and inspire Children and higher Gotta reach our peak, until we shill and retire Got the will to strive for the very best beat Our own techniques and stop the press leaks! And these internet beefs? RESPECT your peeps! So you can finally stop with the questions, PLEASE! Like... *Chorus* *END* Networking Pages: Twitter - twitter.com/madcapmusic Myspace - myspace.com/madcapsmusic Facebook - facebook.com/pages/Madcap/108431682523973?v=app_2405167945&ref=ts Youtube - youtube.com/madcapsmusic iTunes - itunes.apple.com/gb/album/polyrically-correct/id367544730 For lyrics to all songs plus bonus unreleased material and to purchase the album, check out madcapmusic.com To purchase album from other sources: itunes.apple.com/gb/album/polyrically-correct/id367544730 cdbaby.com/madcap amazon.com/Madcap/e/B003ICQM7M **Note: I do not claim copyright ownership for any images/material included in this video other than the music itself** Hide

Part Ten: Desert Palace Link peeks in to survey the area...only to be greeted by a gust full of sand in his face! What? Sand? In a dungeon? Yes, that's right! The Desert Palace is a dungeon completely flooded with a deep layer of sand...the perfect place for creeps of all types to lay in wait for the unsuspecting hero. Among these are the leevers and the swamola. The leevers, a common enemy well known to most Zelda games, issue from the sand to chase after the sand-caked Link, only to sink back into the ground to pop up behind him and surprise him. The swamola are worm-like insects that attack by attempting to suck Link into their awaiting jaws by turning the area around them into quicksand. That having failed, they also have the ability to shoot up to three fireballs in Link's direction. How aggravating! But that's not the worse of it, because strewn among the pillars and behind the corners of this dusty maze-of-a-dungeon are sentinels even more sinister than the previous eyegores... ...the beamos... Able to concentrate a heavy beam of energy at anything it sees, beamos guard the way forward and back, effectively trapping Link in the crossfire. And if that wasn't enough, the Desert Palace also features many trap rooms and twisty turns, made to impede the progress of any would-be intruder. Thank goodness there aren't any mummies! (yet) So, how would you have it, folks? Will Link be barbequed by the swamola? Perhaps bumped and bruised by the sneaky leevers? Or maybe he'll meet his maker in the deadly sights of the beamos? And to top it all off, he must also, once again, contend with the evil BALLS OF DOOM!!! =D (btw, if you're wondering where I'm getting all of these place and enemy names...first off, I've been a fan of these games for over thirteen years, and I do lots of research when it comes to games like this. And because of this research, I've stumbled upon a place called Zelda Wiki...yes, a Wikipedia for the Legend of Zelda! lol, sounds silly, I know, but it's a very neat, informative place. I'm an editor there under the username Doctor1297, as well. Oh, and I'd like to give lots of credit to user and sysop Adamcox82 for revamping the ALttP enemy section. It's brilliant! =D Here's the link to the site: http://zeldawiki.org/Main_Page ) Hide
